I had the honor of drawing Bear and Birdie in January of 2024. I had reached out to Alyssa to discuss the opportunity of a collaboration, and she wholeheartedly agreed. We decided on a reference photo, as shown above, and I then used multiple photographs of the two horses and the bridles to complete the final piece. It measures 22.5 x 22.5.

What I Do
Using markers and colored pencils for vibrant color and detail, I use a reference photo of your choice to draw an original, one-of-a-kind art piece as a keepsake of your horse. I dedicate myself to adding the intricate pencil strokes that create the piece you’re looking for, capturing the special details that make your horse unique. On occasion, I also request additional reference photos of those details so that I can ensure a realistic portrayal of your photo.
